Concept

On 4 May 2022, the European Commission presented a proposal for a Regulation on the European Health Data Space (EHDS), which is the first sectoral adaptation of the European Data Space based on the so-called Data Governance Act.

The aim of the conference is to introduce and discuss the benefits of electronic health data sharing and use, especially for secondary purposes (R&D, regulatory and decision-making).

The conference will be an opportunity to share best practices from European countries and demonstrate the potential of a European market for digital health services and goods to support research, innovation, faster learning and deployment of artificial intelligence, and better and faster diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Synergies between the EHDS vision and the Member States experience, and aspiration will be explored to identify the key challenges to overcome to achieve the goal.

The Czech Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Association of the Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry of the Czech Republic (AIFP).

Under the auspices of the Office of the Government.
